In 1999 Lanthan was the leading Hanoverian sire in Germany for producing both dressage and jumping performance horses. Lanthan sires versatile, elegant, modern, large-framed horses of lovely type and with wonderful temperaments and great rideability. He is a producer of excellent dressage horses as well as an important sire of jumping horses. His breeding values for conformation in his daughters are all excellent and he is much sought after as a broodmare sire. Lanthan has produced 15 licensed sons and 68 State Premium Mares in Germany.
