Remi World Vision

Black Hanoverian Elite Mare 1999 16.2hh
SIRE:  Wolkenstein II (Ger) by Weltmeyer
DAM:  Remi Winter Solstice by Winterkoenig (imp)/ Double Dyed Rose xx

World Vision is one of three Wolkenstein II mares bred at Remi Stud, and unfortunately one had to be sold. Prior to being purchased by Libby Welch, World Vision produced a black filly foal by Fabriano (Ger), EM Remi Fatal Attraction, which has been retained by the stud. World Vision was broken in with her foal at foot and 5 weeks after being saddled for the first time, competed in a preliminary dressage competition and was awarded 64.6%. This mare was always destined for the dressage arena, and in 2003 she successfully completed her Hanoverian Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 7.94 with a 10 for her canter, and finished second in Australia by 1 point. She was awarded her Elite Mare Status in 2004 and subsequently was sold. Libby continues to train her and has already won Elementary, Medium, Advanced & now Prix St George Dressage Championships with her. She has been selected for the Qld State Dressage Squad for 2009 as well as the Horsewerks Hanoverian Dressage Team 2009. Her daughter, Victoria, competed her in the Queensland State Young Rider Championships 2008, where she won Advanced Champion. The skies the limit with this wonderful mare!
